The Hoops community
Fans, players, clubs, leagues and creators, following the same games in one place. Who is here, what each can do, and the ground rules.
Who is here
Fans
Follow clubs, players, leagues and creators, then like, comment on, save and share their posts. Guests can browse everything; liking, commenting and posting need an account.
Players
Every player has a page with highlights and a career from official sources. Players choose who can tag them, can approve each tag before it shows, and decide whether posts that mention them appear on their profile. A player who claims their page with a code from their club gets the verified mark beside their name and posts stories as themselves.
Clubs and leagues
A verified account posts as the club or league itself: news, photos, video, articles and highlights tagged to its players, to everyone who follows it, and stories that sit at the top of Home for 24 hours, as on Instagram.
Creators
Channels and writers post video and articles to the people who follow them, and fans are suggested the creators who cover the teams and players they follow.
More for players and families and for clubs and leagues.
The ground rules
- Anyone signed in can report a post.
- You can delete your own comments, and a club, league or creator can delete its own posts and remove comments on them.
- League games are scored only from the official statistics feed, so nobody can post an unofficial score for one. The Scorekeeper is for your own games, and they never reach the league tables.
The full community guidelines will be published on this page before the App Store release.
