For clubs and leagues
Publish as yourself. No app to build.
Hoops gives every club and league in British basketball a verified account that posts straight into fans' feeds, beside the games, tables and player pages the app already carries.
What you get
A verified account
Your club or league posts as itself, with the verified tick, to everyone who follows you. Your news sits beside your scores and tables, where a fan who follows you looks, not on a site they have to remember to visit.
Your club in every competition
One page carries every team you run and every competition it plays: Bristol Flyers in Super League Basketball (SLB) and the European North Basketball League (ENBL), Flyers II in the British Championship Basketball (BCB) league and Trophy, and the women in WNBL Division One. Stats break down by competition.
Your games, with live stats
Fixtures, results, standings and rosters are already in the app from official sources. Each game the official feed covers has its box score and play by play, and every game lists every way to watch it, the broadcaster first: DAZN for SLB, YouTube for SLBW and BCB, and a club's own stream where there is one.
Your players' pages
Every player has a page with averages, highlights and a career timeline. Careers and honours come only from official sources (club biographies, league and club releases, Basketball England and FIBA), each line with its source. Careers for 430 players are in already.

How publishing works
We make you an owner of your account
108 publisher accounts are set up already for leagues, clubs and creators, so yours may be waiting. We confirm who you are, then add the people you name to it as owners or editors.
Write in the composer
Choose who you post as and what kind of post it is: text, photos, video from a YouTube link or a file, an article with a cover image, a link with its preview, or a highlight attached to a game. Save a draft or publish.
Tag what it is about
Tag your team, the league and the game. Tag players in a video and it appears in each player's Highlights, on their own page.
Fans see it
The post goes to your page and to the For You feed of everyone who follows your club or league, and your stories sit at the top of their Home. Fans can like, comment, save and report; you can delete your posts and remove comments on them.
Posts and videos already in the catalogue are attributed to the channels they came from, with a link back.

What fans see
A fan who follows your club gets your games first on Home and in Games, with the live one on top, game reminders, widgets and a Live Activity with the score in the Dynamic Island. Guests can browse everything without an account.
On iPad in landscape, a game with a YouTube stream plays beside the live scoreboard, quarter scores, plays and box score, with the tab bar at the top and no sidebar taking a column; a game on DAZN links straight to it. The Watch button only appears when a stream exists, so a fan is never sent to a dead end.

Every league, every cup
Hoops carries 116 competitions in 2026-27: 94 leagues and 22 cups, tournaments and knockouts. Each folder is one entry in the app's lists, and Home and Games show a folder's games only for the leagues a fan follows or picks.
The five leagues and Europe, live
Super League Basketball, SLBW, BCB, NBL Division One and WNBL Division One, the EuroCup, the Basketball Champions League, the FIBA Europe Cup and the ENBL, with box scores and play by play from the official feeds. Great Britain's qualifiers and youth championships and the 3x3 events sit beside them.
Academy leagues
Basketball England's under-19 Elite Academy Basketball League and Women's EABL in one folder: 36 teams in three conferences each, 3 points for a win, final scores, and rosters with name, height and position only. The players are 16 to 19, so no birth dates, numbers or photos.
BUCS
Premier, then Tiers 1 to 5 by region (Midlands, Northern, Scottish, South Eastern and Western), men's and women's: 59 leagues, 352 teams and 1,630 league fixtures, and 14 knockouts. 3 points for a win. BUCS publishes no rosters, so university players have no pages yet.
The home nations
Scotland (the SBC's men and women), Wales (the BWNL, men), Ireland (the men's and women's Super League and Division One, and the men's Division Two) and Northern Ireland (the men's and women's Premier, and the men's Divisions 1 and 2): 12 leagues and 118 teams in four folders, each table ranked by its governing body's rule. Five clubs publish a squad.
Cups, with their brackets
The BCB Trophy (20 teams, 6 of them guests from outside BCB), the SLB Cup, the Betty Codona Cup, the National Cups, the London Lions Invitational and the Hoopsfix Pro-Am, and the 14 BUCS knockouts. Groups and brackets fill in as results land; a time not yet set reads TBC.
Until feeds are agreed, academy, university and home-nations results change in the app only when its catalogue is reseeded from the published results.

Live data, in plain words
- Where the numbers come from
- Live scores, box scores and play by play come from the match data Genius Sports hosts for the British leagues and the ENBL, and from the game feeds of Euroleague Basketball and FIBA. Fixtures, rosters and careers come from the leagues, the clubs, Basketball England and FIBA.
- What is agreed
- Nothing yet. Hoops has no agreement with any league, club, governing body or data provider. We are writing to Basketball England, British Championship Basketball, Super League Basketball Limited and The Women's Basketball League Limited (the men's and women's Super Leagues), Genius Sports, the ENBL, Euroleague Basketball and FIBA Europe to ask for written permission to show their live data, with attribution, and to Basketball Scotland, Basketball Wales, Basketball Ireland, Basketball NI and Basketball England, for its academy leagues, about theirs.
- If a league says no
- The app shows that league's fixtures, results, posts and video, and leaves out its live box scores. Nobody scores a league game by hand in Hoops, so there is never an unofficial version of your game.
- Your crest
- We ask before using it. Until a club agrees in writing, this website's own tables and cards show a monogram in the club's colours instead.
- What it costs
- Nothing is priced yet. Some features may need a Hoops Plus membership later, and this page will say which when they do.
- When something is wrong
- Tell us which game, team or player, and we check the source and correct it.
What comes next
Planned, not built: a view for each club and league of who follows you and what they watch and read, from Hoops' own first-party analytics with no third-party trackers, and a report at the end of each season. Neither exists yet, and this page will say so until they do.
Get your publisher account

Hoops is not on the App Store yet. The first test version is planned for this winter. The App Store launch is planned for 2027.
